Back for the fourth edition, the Gin Festival Amsterdam will be held with hundreds of beautiful brands. This year, the set-up is again a bit larger than last year with a new venue! There are continuous master classes, seminars and tastings that you can attend for a small fee. The tasting of the drinks is again included in the price, only if you want to get a full-size mix you pay a small amount.



After three successful editions in Undercurrent (Noord) we have found a location that fits better with the size of our festival. The Beurs van Berlage is one of the most beautiful buildings in Amsterdam and we are very proud to be able to welcome our visitors here. In three different halls we will offer an even greater range of stands, seminars and master classes. In addition, there is more room for food and entertainment, including a speak-easy club and live music.

We have been seeing for some time that genever is getting back on track. For a long time, this great traditional Dutch drink was gathered in dust, but it can count on increasing appreciation from a whole new group of drinkers. In the context of World Genever Day (May 11, 2019) a large number of brands will be present and there will be a special Jenever Experience where you can get to know all facets. The “Kopstoot” will play an important role in this experience, the classic combination between a beer and a genever is actually the Dutch version of the gin & tonic. Only slightly stronger.



This year’s food will be provided by the Beurs van Berlage’s F&B team. Because the festival is indoors, we can unfortunately not bake and roast live there, but they will provide delicious festival food!



The opening hours are 15:00 till 22:00.
During the day various speakers from the Netherlands and abroad will talk about their profession. This covers all aspects of developing, distilling, packaging and history of gin, tonic, gin and cocktails. Tasting sessions can also be attended where different styles of gin and gin are tasted.
